At Floralife, we like to describe our contribution to the global floriculture industry with the phrase “Follow the Flowers.” The path from the farm to the home is long and full of hazards for the delicate flower, and Floralife products attempt to address each of them. It’s a big job! How big? To appreciate the global scope of Following the Flowers, it helps to also “Follow the Income.”
Floralife Research Updates are a valuable source of cut flower knowledge. Our floral research helps growers, transporters, wholesalers and retailers get the most from their investment, and present a better product to the consumer. Today’s focus is on improving vase life, while also enjoying clearer vase solution in a paper entitled “Product Test Results: Booster eZ Dose.”
…don’t bash them! Of course, Valentine’s Day is a huge floral holiday. And what floral holiday would be complete without flower bashing by everybody who isn’t selling flowers!? “Flowers die. Give her _____ instead,” and so on. As usual, the Society of American Florists is on the case, documenting the abuses against Valentine’s Day flowers. And this year, there’s a social media twist!
Happy New Year! As we said on Christmas Day, we at Floralife hope you are enjoying a safe and happy New Year’s Day relaxing with family and friends, and not necessarily reading floral industry blogs! If you ARE reading this on New Year’s Day, take a moment to check out some New Year’s floral traditions from around the world!
